'Karnal' is one of major city of Haryana. It is also known as a city of 'Daanveer Karna'. Selflessness is the foundation of the city. It is known all over the world for production of Rice, Wheat, and Milk and for agriculture research Institutions like NDRI, CSSRI, Wheat Research Directorate, National Bureau of Animal Genetics Resources, Sugarcane Breeding Institute, etc.

The city is growing at a great pace towards development and information sector making it an important magnet for the state of Haryana.

How do you see Karnal as a smart city in next 5 years?

#Karnal To achieve mission of Digital Haryana and Smart City,Information Technology is playing most important role.Every deptt. must be Digitized.This can be done by creating post of technical expert in IT Cadre like School Information Managers in edu. deptt.These managers are handling all online IT work of the deptt.So,there must be sanctioned post of Info. Manager in every school in IT cadre of deptt. and this kind of post should be created in all deptts. also to streamline all IT work.

Needs to provide basic facilities water, sewerage, parking etc. it must also ensure that these facilities should check on regular basis, also check if these facilities provide also needs to replace with old one infrastructure. One call centre with toll free number should be established for removing complaints in specific time if any face on above or others in would be smart city.

दूसरों को बदलने से पहले खुद में बदलाव लाना होगा, स्वच्छ भारत अभियान में खुद से शुरुआत करें और दूसरों को प्ररेणा दें। यही स्मार्ट शहर में योगदान होगा।
