Swami Vivekananda's Birthday on January 12 is always celebrated as National Youth Day. It is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, maker of the modern India. It was first declared by the Government of India in the year 1984 to celebrate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda as the National Youth Day. Since then (1985), it is started celebrating as the National Youth Day all over the country.

To undertake activities by the youth on National Youth Day, it has been decided to invite suggestions from youth to indicate the activities which can be undertaken on that day.

Last date to submit your suggestions is 15th November, 2016

Surgical strike on fake currency, black money,etc., is welcome! A new danger has emerged that poor, ignorant youth may be used by black money holders to make their money, white. If plastic currency, may be for higher denominations, is introduced, the problem of fake currency/soiled notes, will be taken care of. Plastic currency will also prevent misuse of youth by anti-social elements. Introduction of India-made plastic currency will make us stronger. Drkartikaypandey@gmail.com 9451308180.

I would like to share an idea for effective utilization of currency. Print Note with expiry date and barcode. Once currency expiry date will be over, it should be submitted to bank and need to collect valid note from bank. By using Barcode and expiry date, it will help to identify the valid note in an efficient manner.

I would just like to say that an official announcement should be made that no one should write anything on new currency notes otherwise banks will not accept the same so that currency will be clean and no rubbish can be written on it by anyone .... Please do consider it

Youth of India is striving for job. Unemployment is the basic problem of the category. So it is very important now to take extreme step against unemployment. Start a web portal in which collect the data of unemployed youth and their qualifications, interests and also collect data from all employers of their requirements and interested in hiring employees. Meet them together of same location. Employers who helps in the task, provide some type of advantage to them according to their business needs

May be organised at Pan India level and at India gate to 1.Respect Old age people and provide assistance to Divyang. 2.A pledge of youth to help peolpe of Road side accident as we know people are becoming insensitive towards such incidents. Vivekananda would have cried while looking to such insensitive incidents. So My idea is all about inclusive participation of youth in nation service and its building. Regards

Respected Modi sir My suggestion is on based of Swami ji ideology. SERVICE OF MANKIND. I do not believe in marking youth day as appeasement and packages to youth.True meaning of This day will be served when youth of India will be asked to join the service of Mankind and its contemporary needs. We need youth inclusion in nation service on mass scale. 1.All youth between 16-30 may be asked to plant a Tree on youth day as Tree should be named as vivekanand Tree. 2.Mass pledge of youth may be

On youth day.... Give us the gift by announcing The reservation in govt job according to the income of the family.. Now that 500rs and 1000rs notes had been banned and new notes with tracking chips is going to be provided... It will be possible to know the actual income more precisely... And the poor who really need reservation could get benefit of it... Please it's one of the todays necessities Please do something for it Thank you

Revered PM Sir, I belong from the birth place of Swami Vivekananda, the Vedantist. & I do have a very humble request to you, can we implement the study of some portions of the Complete Works Of Vivekananda in CBSE, ICSE and all other regional boards? By doing this I guess that our future generation will be knowing what India is all about and how to love India. Jai Hind

Dear Modi sir, can we implement compulsory military duty for all Indian citizens? It is there in many countries. I believe a common man serving the nation with our armed forces will create a great bond. Also I suggest that this should exclude all politicians as this is for the common man. This can also be made mandatory at college level as it will help our youth to develop a stronger bond with our soldiers at the border. Jai Hind #MYGOV

Respected sir, I would like to suggest you that, before "THE NATIONAL YOUTH DAY" a survey must go on across the whole country and collect every possible info from each your like(the problems they are facing toward the carrier, required solution to it) and their opinions and ideas to develop our country in every possible way , by analysing all those ideas n plans we create new jobs arrange a big camp on "THE NATIONAL YOUTH DAY" and assign these jobs to jobless youth and others...
