Every Diwali, someone’s artistry glows on our clothes, someone’s pottery lightens up our home and someone becomes an important part of the celebration. Their contribution to our happiness is immense. As urged by PM Narendra Modi, in Mann Ki Baat, let’s bring a smile to those faces and spread the joy with people who are an integral part of our celebration. Have you brightened-up someone’s Diwali? Tell us your story through pictures, videos or text.

I WISH U ALL HAPPY DIWALI. AS WE ALL KNOW DIWALI IS A FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS AND WE CELEBRATE BY DECORATING OUR HOMES WITH DIYA'S. AND ALSO DO LAXMI PUJA IN EVENING. CHILDREN'S ENJOYS THIS DAY BY CRACKERS. BUT REMEMBER AND SUGGEST THE CHILDREN NOT TO PLAY WITH CRACKERS MORE, BECAUSE AS IT POLLUTES THE ENVIRONMENT AND OUR HEALTH ALSO. HARMFULL GASES ARE RELEASED WHEN WE LIGHTEN THE CRACKERS AND BOMBS.ITS CREATES AIR POLLUTION AS WELL AS NOISE POLLUTION.

Diwali is definitely one of my favourite times of the year for a number of reasons, “The weather, The festivities, The amazing food, The beautiful display of lights, but mostly The time we can enjoy with our Family and Friends.” Taking place in October or November depending on the Indian calendar, the weather is just turning cool and the holiday feel is already creeping up on everyone when “the Festival of Lights” rolls around. Almost before one month, we started our Diwali preparations.
