Recognizing the universal appeal of Yoga, owing to its demonstrated benefits towards immunity building and stress relief, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 11th December 2014. Since 2015, this day has been observed all over the world in ever-growing numbers, with the objective of reminding people across the globe about the benefits of Yoga, and to build enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to the public health.

The preparations for the 7th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2021) have already begun and the Ministry of AYUSH (MoA) is looking forward to active participation from the people. The event will be observed in compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines of the government, with a greater focus on digital activities. In these tough times, all are encouraged to “Be with Yoga, Be at Home”

With this backdrop, MoA invites all citizens to share their ideas on how people can plan to observe the 7th IDY at home with their friends and families while mobilizing the wider community to maintain the ethos of Yoga and ensure community wellbeing. These ideas can be further utilized by the Ministry in conduction different programs dedicated to building the enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to public health

The last date for submission of ideas is 30th June 2021.

Not only this, the inclusion of yoga in the curriculum of government schools at every state level has changed the misconception that yoga belongs only to one religious sect. We can create a new generation that is mentally and physically healthy.One hour of yoga training and training in all schools will enable us to create a strong generation to fight the pandemics that are still waiting for our country.I am so glad to be able to write you down these little ideas that came to my mind as a child.

Actually now a days where the younger generation is following many protein powders and other unscientific methods to reduce there fat, and to increase muscle power and enhance beauty.you the ultimate center of India,if designed such a channel, then the services of many yoga teachers in India, including Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudeva,from Isha Yoga foundation, and the Venerable Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravishankar. etc.etc. will be available directly to every ordinary citizen of our country.

7ਵਾਂ ਯੋਗ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਬਾਰਕਾਂ। ਯੋਗਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਸੰਸਕਿ੍ਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਅਨੌਖੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾ ਕੇ ਹਰ ਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ, ਸਵਰਗ ਬਣਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਇਕ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਪੀਰੀਅਡ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਕਿਰਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਨ । ਕਿੳਂਕਿ ਬੱਚੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਹਨ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਯੋਗ ਐਪ ਜਾ ਸਾਇਟ ਹੋਣੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

Yoga has changed our daily life drastically. Physical as well mental health are now intact and is giving us positive results in maintaing the both. Yoga day celebrate करने के लिए केवल 1 दिन योगा ना करे l. योगा को अपनी आम दिनचर्या का एक हिस्सा बनाई . जोकि आपके हमारे शरीर को मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से हर मुसिबत से लड़ने के लिए तैयार रखेगा. आज हमारा देश कोरोना जैसी वैश्विक महामारी से लड़ रहा है . वही देखा गया है जो इंसान अपनी आम दिनचर्या में योगा और योगा जैसी कोई भी गतिविधि को अपना रखा है उस इंसान की immunity power आम इंसान से बेहतर पाई गई है . इन्हीं को देखते हर आम इंसान को अपनी जिंदगी में संकल्प लेना चाहिए कि वह हर रोज योगा को अपनाए. जयहिंद
