Single use plastic bags for shopping should be banned with immediate effect. use of cotton cloth bags for shopping to be encouraged use of jute bags to be encouraged use of earthen pottery items to be encouraged. single use disposable plastic cups should be banned Use of eco friendly re usable items should be discussed and distributed.

FUrther to my earlier comments Use reusable carrying material like stitched clothe bags, gunney bags, Use trolleys to carry material at shops , malls, industries , parks instead of using plastic bags of any micron size. Avoid use of plastic sheets by using iron sheets, metallic sheets, other non plastic material Aviod use of plastic item in automobile section by using FRP and othe non plastic boards Avoid use of plastic in industris by using synthetic material, hylam material etc

following are my comments/ suggestions 1. In previous days we are used to carry baskets or different types of stitched clothe bags for purchasing groceries, vegetables etc. now a days we are not at all using them and using plastic bags . 2. after use the plastic bag we are throwing them . Plastics are not bio degradable. they will take 1000 year to degrade in soil. 3 further street animals eating these plastic material and falling sick and some times dying. 4. Burning 1kg of plastic material produces 2,9 kg of CO2,, which will increase Global warming . therefore reduce plastic usage. use traditional baskets/ clothe bags/ Gunny bags /reusable bags

This can be achieved through: - Implementing plastic waste management policies - Promoting eco-friendly alternatives - Encouraging public participation and awareness *Concerns and Suggestions* - Ensure proper waste collection and segregation infrastructure - Collaborate with industries to develop sustainable packaging - Educate citizens about the importance of reducing plastic use - Provide incentives for recycling and reusing plastics - Develop and implement effective plastic waste management technologies By prioritizing these initiatives, India can reduce plastic pollution, promote sustainable development, and create a greener future.
