Plastic bags and bottles are the biggest nuisance, because of its availability and utility to common man, who doesn’t have global view for future. Option is to promote use of natural fibre bags. This will boost local entrepreneurs and economy too. The water bottles may be replaced by steel or earthen bottles, added with little innovation. Increased number of water taps in public places, like airports will lower demand to some extent. And hotels, restaurants should be banned to promote water bottles, instead Quality of tap water has to be assured. Let’s address root causes.
