Reduce Single-Use Plastics: Avoid using disposable plastic bags, bottles, straws, and cutlery. Opt for reusable alternatives like cloth bags, metal bottles, and bamboo straws. Promote Recycling: Improve waste segregation at source to ensure plastics are recycled properly instead of ending up in landfills or oceans. Use Biodegradable Alternatives: Support and switch to biodegradable or compostable materials made from natural sources instead of conventional plastics. Implement Stronger Policies: Governments should enforce bans or restrictions on single-use plastics, impose plastic taxes, and promote Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). Public Awareness and Education: Conduct campaigns to educate communities about the harms of plastic pollution and how to reduce plastic usage. Cleanup Drives: Organize and participate in regular beach, river, and urban clean-up drives to remove plastic waste from the environment.

13. Mud paanai can be used in possible places instead of plastics. 14. One important thing is when we cut milk pockets, oil pockets , other food items we should not remove the corners. I can across this message 2 to 3 years back. The small pieces will block the holes, pipe outlets etc. flood time it was difficult to water pathways. This small plastics reuse also diffcult. So if we cut properly without removing it is good for environment. It is small thing big impact. I have attached the pic for reference. I am doing for the past 6 to 7 years this way. The attached one came in newspaper some years back.

11. Segregating dry waste, wet waste and others is important. It will save time for all. Segregating wastes will help reduce, reuse and recycle. Biogases can be created more. 12. Possible furnitures, old things can reuse, can be given to needy, asramam, etc in good condition. This will avoid most wastages.

7. Water bottles can be eversilver, bamboo based instead of plastic based. Good for health well for all ages. 8. Pencils, paint related items encouraging in wooden based. 9. Encouraging innovations like art products in plastic free , tree based etc. So that drastically reduce plastics 10. One side we are doing industrial improvements. So we may reduce trees . So another possible places we have to encourage trees. So that eco system balanced may come.
