It is not a disturbing co-incidence but it is definitely a co-incidence that being educated people are listening from one ears, not caring and let is go out from the opposite ear, without understanding the harms and dangerous reaction of plastics in and on daily basis of each and every family and CITIZEN OF india. Every time India wanted to build an INDIA a plastic free country so that Pollution can be reduced, but this can only happen when citizens will work on it accordingly and very actively and putting themselves on awareness and boycot Plastic from their life, society, neighbourhood and from their locality, from the states and from the country. Each and every single Citizens are responsible for thier responsibilities and words and work for reducing Plastic waste and contributions in reducing plastic pollution. Pollution is not our family members or friends, than why we will be a part of it, just only to destroy and reduce the percentage of Pollution, the most important work for

Pledge on plastic to be implemented in schools:

My journey to reduce plastic waste is still a work in progress. As a student, it’s tough to avoid plastic entirely—so much around us comes wrapped in it. But I’ve started making conscious changes. I carry a cloth bag for shopping, reuse plastic containers at home, and use a refillable water bottle instead of buying packaged ones. I avoid plastic straws and cutlery when ordering food, and try to choose items with less packaging. While I haven’t done anything big or perfect, these small steps have made me more aware of my role in the problem. I still slip up sometimes, but I’ve begun thinking before using plastic. I also hope to use my background in communication to raise awareness in small ways, like conversations or social media posts. Change is slow, but it begins with awareness—and I believe even the smallest action, done consistently, can lead to bigger impact.

As an educator deeply committed to environmental sustainability, I have consciously eliminated plastic bags from my daily life and rely solely on reusable cloth bags. Beyond personal practice, I actively involve my students in this mission by organizing awareness drives, classroom discussions, and eco-friendly challenges to reduce plastic use. I encourage them to carry their own cloth bags, refuse single-use plastics, and become ambassadors of change in their families and communities. We have also initiated a “Plastic-Free School” campaign, where students take pledges and creatively reuse plastic waste into useful items. These small yet powerful steps are shaping a responsible generation that understands the urgency of beating plastic pollution. I believe education is the strongest weapon to bring lasting environmental change and I am proud to be contributing to this journey.
