India is proud to host the AI Impact Summit 2026, a landmark global event announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister at the France AI Action Summit. Building on the momentum of Bletchley Park, Seoul, and Paris, the Summit will mark a strategic shift, from action to measurable impact, in global AI cooperation.

The Summit envisions a future where AI delivers real impact, advancing inclusive growth, social development, and a healthier planet. It aims to ensure that AI innovation and governance reflect the diverse realities, languages, and development priorities of both emerging and advanced economies.

Bringing together governments, industry leaders, researchers, startups, civil society, and international organizations, the Summit will chart a shared vision for harnessing AI responsibly, for good, and for all. The Summit will help bridge the AI divide and enable all communities, especially in the developing world, to shape and benefit from the future of AI.

To ensure the Summit is grounded in public priorities and stakeholder insight, the Government of India invites inputs from citizens, students, researchers, startups, civil society, and domain experts. Your feedback will help shape the themes, focus areas, and key deliverables of the Summit.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), through IndiaAI (an independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation), in collaboration with MyGov, is inviting inputs to help shape the discourse, themes, and outcomes of the AI Impact Summit 2026. Your views will ensure the Summit reflects national and international priorities and delivers meaningful, inclusive, and actionable outcomes.

Please provide your suggestions and inputs below regarding the AI Impact Summit and its themes, outcomes, priorities, and more

I believe AI is not just a tool for progress, it’s a responsibility, and how we shape it today will define who gets left behind tomorrow. So if we’re truly moving from “action” to “impact,” then that impact must start at the ground level, where real people live, speak, struggle, and dream. AI shouldn’t just echo the voices of tech giants and powerful nations, it should speak in the languages of our villages, understand the problems of our classrooms, and assist those who don’t even know what "AI" stands for. Let the Summit focus not only on innovation but also on inclusion. Bring the unheard into the conversation, students from tier-2 cities, local startups solving real problems, and grassroots voices who live the realities we often turn into data points. We need AI that, Works in regional languages with equal fluency. Understands the difference between need and trend. Creates bridges, not just networks, especially for countries still catching up.

Impact of AI in India Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way India works, learns, and lives. From simple voice assistants on our phones to complex systems in hospitals and farms, AI is becoming a part of daily life. In the healthcare sector, AI helps doctors detect diseases early, making treatment faster and more accurate. In agriculture, farmers are using AI-powered apps to check weather, soil health, and crop suggestions, improving their harvests. Education is also being transformed. AI tutors are helping students learn in regional languages at their own pace. In cities, traffic and public services are slowly getting smarter with AI-based systems. However, AI also brings challenges like job displacement and the need for digital skills. So, India must focus on AI education and responsible use to make sure everyone benefits.

India is moving fast toward becoming a global leader in AI, and the AI Impact Summit 2026 is a perfect opportunity to showcase how Artificial Intelligence can support inclusive development, job creation, and ethical innovation. Here are my humble suggestions: 1. AI for Grassroots India: Use AI for solving rural issues like crop disease detection, personalized learning in local languages, rural telemedicine, and smart water management. 2. Youth Skill Development in AI: Launch free or affordable short-term courses on AI basics, coding, and ethics in schools and colleges—especially in rural and tier-2/3 cities—to build an inclusive digital future. 3. AI for Government Services: Promote the use of AI in improving public services like traffic control, land records, weather alerts, waste management, and subsidy distribution. 4. Startup Support: Encourage AI-based Indian startups by providing seed funding, sandbox environments, and government contracts for pilot solutions.
