India is proud to host the AI Impact Summit 2026, a landmark global event announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister at the France AI Action Summit. Building on the momentum of Bletchley Park, Seoul, and Paris, the Summit will mark a strategic shift, from action to measurable impact, in global AI cooperation.

The Summit envisions a future where AI delivers real impact, advancing inclusive growth, social development, and a healthier planet. It aims to ensure that AI innovation and governance reflect the diverse realities, languages, and development priorities of both emerging and advanced economies.

Bringing together governments, industry leaders, researchers, startups, civil society, and international organizations, the Summit will chart a shared vision for harnessing AI responsibly, for good, and for all. The Summit will help bridge the AI divide and enable all communities, especially in the developing world, to shape and benefit from the future of AI.

To ensure the Summit is grounded in public priorities and stakeholder insight, the Government of India invites inputs from citizens, students, researchers, startups, civil society, and domain experts. Your feedback will help shape the themes, focus areas, and key deliverables of the Summit.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), through IndiaAI (an independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation), in collaboration with MyGov, is inviting inputs to help shape the discourse, themes, and outcomes of the AI Impact Summit 2026. Your views will ensure the Summit reflects national and international priorities and delivers meaningful, inclusive, and actionable outcomes.

Please provide your suggestions and inputs below regarding the AI Impact Summit and its themes, outcomes, priorities, and more

AI should be restricted in learning phases as we learn the languages or softwares or ethical hacking with certification only. It should not be commercialize as a social media app to everyone's phone. This is creating too many harmful impacts in our day today lifestyle and also reducing the human efforts in very bad way which is making human beings lazy and doing things by just commanding to AI. As a result the mental strength and the physical strength of human beings will be dependable on AI machine and this is something very dangeous for our future. So my request for use of AI is that it should be restricted to the required areas only and not being commercialized like social media applications. Thanks, Nitesh Jain

Academic curricula, especially in fields like linguistics, must be better aligned with the demands of the AI industry. Linguistics plays a critical role in the development of Generative AI, yet only a handful of Indian educational institutions currently offer specialised programs in Computational or AI Linguistics. These are already well-established and popular disciplines in several leading foreign universities. Bridging this talent gap is crucial for preparing a future-ready workforce and advancing AI innovation.

What a Wonderful Step is Done By our Indian Government and Our Beloved PM Modi ji. The IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026 presents a timely opportunity to shape a future where artificial intelligence contributes meaningfully to inclusive growth and social development. As a PhD researcher in Decision Sciences, I believe the summit should emphasize themes such as AI for Social Good, AI Governance and Ethics, Human-Centric and Anthropomorphic AI, and AI for Climate Resilience. These focus areas will ensure that AI applications are not only technically advanced but also ethically grounded and socially responsible. Prioritizing grassroots innovation, especially from Tier-2 and Tier-3 regions, gender inclusivity in AI, and the development of indigenous language technologies can help democratize AI benefits across India.
