Encouraging Citizens to Help Others Without Legal Fear: Many people hesitate to help others in emergencies or difficult situations due to fear of legal complications. A strong and clear policy framework should be established to protect and encourage individuals who act in good faith to help others. Legal and law-enforcement agencies should support and safeguard such helpers rather than subject them to unnecessary scrutiny or harassment. Strengthening awareness and enforcement of “good faith” protections will build trust, promote social responsibility, and encourage a culture where citizens feel confident in helping one another.

Strengthening Skill Development and Vocational Training: India should significantly expand skill development centers across the country to make vocational training easily accessible. Individuals who wish to learn practical skills such as plumbing, tailoring, electrical work, or similar trades should be able to quickly acquire these skills through short-term, free or highly subsidized courses. Widespread access to practical skill training will improve employability, encourage self-employment, reduce unemployment, and strengthen the workforce. Large-scale upskilling will directly benefit individuals while contributing to national economic growth.

Speedy Implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP): The National Education Policy (NEP) was formulated several years ago with the vision of transforming India’s education system. However, its implementation has been slower than expected. Accelerated and time-bound implementation of NEP across states and institutions is essential to ensure its intended benefits reach students. Swift execution of NEP reforms will improve learning outcomes, skill development, and global competitiveness, directly benefiting students who represent the future of the country and strengthening India’s long-term growth.

Suggestion to Develop World-Class Tourist Destinations in India: India has immense potential to become a global tourism hub. A focused policy could be introduced to develop world-class tourist destinations with international standards, similar to leading attractions in countries like Singapore. By investing in clean infrastructure, safety, accessibility, digital services, and high-quality visitor experiences, India can attract a larger number of foreign tourists. Creating iconic attractions, well-maintained public spaces, and seamless travel experiences would position India as a preferred global tourist destination, boost foreign exchange earnings, and generate large-scale employment across tourism and allied sectors.

Suggestion to Promote India as a Global Wedding Destination: India has the potential to become a leading global destination for weddings. To attract more foreign couples, the government could introduce simplified and transparent rules for destination weddings in India, including easier permissions, minimal documentation, and clear guidelines for foreign nationals. Streamlining processes related to visas, registrations, payments, and taxation would make it more attractive and convenient for international couples to choose India for their weddings. Increased destination weddings would boost tourism, hospitality, local employment, and service industries, while showcasing India’s culture and heritage globally.

Suggestion on Retirement and Healthcare-Friendly Policies for Foreign Nationals: Many foreign nationals seek affordable destinations for retirement and long-term healthcare, as elderly care and assisted living are extremely expensive in countries like the United States. India has the potential to become a preferred destination due to its high-quality medical care and lower costs. A dedicated policy could be designed to encourage such individuals to retire or stay long-term in India by allowing them to spend foreign-earned income in India with minimal tax complexity, especially when such income has already been taxed abroad. Simplified tax rules, clear exemptions on foreign income, and easy residency or long-stay options would make India more attractive. This would lead to increased foreign spending in healthcare, housing, and local services, generating employment and boosting the Indian economy without placing additional burden on public resources.

A conservative lower-bound estimate for the number of people in India relying solely on cryptocurrency as their income source is approximately 500,000. This is based on extrapolated growth from earlier industry statements and surveys on active traders, cross-referenced with current user base figures and trends in smaller cities where unemployment drives full-time crypto engagement. This figure accounts for the lowest plausible proportion (around 0.5-1%) of the total crypto user base engaging in full-time activities, and available data does not support anything lower. Considering that ~5,00,000 is a substantial population within our nation whose only source of income is cryptocurrency, I urge the government to eliminate current crypto tax laws and replace them with ones that align with the traditional taxation system with fair tax slabs based on annual income. Taxation should be fair & just for all forms of income that is hard earned like any hardworking individual in our country.
