I would strongly recommend Dr. Thankam S of Manipal Hospital (Old Airport Road, Bengaluru) for Mann Ki Baat with PM Shri Narendra Modi ji on March 29, 2026. She is an altruistic live donor who donated her fully functional kidney to a stranger on February 10, 2026, setting a powerful example that kidney failure can be addressed through live donations. Her action proves it is not always necessary to wait for cadaveric donors, which often involves procedural delays and higher failure rates. She notably fought a legal battle for 10 years to make this donation possible. Featuring her story would serve as a massive inspiration for organ donation in India, where donation rates are currently among the lowest in the world. Thanks!

I am a ration card holder and I want to request for inter state transfer facility of ration card through online system. Currently the existing system allows only intra state transfer and there is no option available for transferring ration card from one state to another such as Delhi to Bihar. Due to this limitation beneficiaries face many problems. At present if a person wants to shift to another state he has to first cancel the existing ration card and then apply for a new one in another state. There is no guarantee that the new ration card will be approved which creates uncertainty and inconvenience. If an online inter state transfer system is introduced it will help beneficiaries to transfer their ration card easily by submitting required documents like address proof of new state. This will save time reduce harassment and improve transparency. It will also support Digital India initiative and make the system more efficient and user friendly.

Social harmony and unity should also remain a core message. In a diverse country like India, maintaining mutual respect and brotherhood is essential. The PM can highlight examples where communities have come together for a common cause—be it disaster relief, social service, or cultural celebrations. Reinforcing the idea of unity in diversity strengthens the social fabric of the nation. Additionally, farmers and rural development deserve continued attention. Sharing success stories of modern agricultural practices, use of technology in farming, organic farming, and water management can inspire farmers across the country. Recognizing the efforts of किसान helps in building respect and awareness among urban audiences as well.

In today’s digital age, cyber awareness and digital safety are extremely important. With increasing online transactions and digital services, people are also vulnerable to cyber fraud. The PM can educate citizens about basic precautions—like not sharing OTPs, verifying links, and being cautious of suspicious calls. This will be especially helpful for elderly citizens and first-time digital users. Another meaningful theme is “Vocal for Local” and support for small businesses. Promoting local artisans, handicrafts, and MSMEs not only strengthens the economy but also preserves India’s cultural heritage. The PM can encourage citizens to buy local products, especially during festivals and special occasions. Featuring unique local products from different states can increase awareness and demand.

The PM can talk about emerging opportunities in sectors like artificial intelligence, digital entrepreneurship, green energy, and manufacturing. Encouraging young people to focus on skill-building rather than just degrees will be highly relevant. Including success stories of youth from rural or tier-2 and tier-3 cities will make the message more relatable. Health and wellness is another important subject. Instead of focusing only on treatment, Mann Ki Baat can emphasize preventive healthcare—daily exercise, yoga, balanced diet, and mental well-being. Awareness about lifestyle diseases like diabetes, obesity, and hypertension is crucial, especially in urban and semi-urban populations. The PM can also encourage citizens to participate in initiatives like Fit India Movement and promote the consumption of nutritious, locally available foods such as millets. Environmental responsibility should be a recurring theme. Water conservation, reducing plastic usage, tree plantation, and cleanliness

Mann Ki Baat has always been a platform that connects the Prime Minister directly with citizens, focusing on inspiration rather than politics. To make upcoming episodes more impactful, the content can be centered around people-driven stories, national priorities, and future-oriented themes. One of the most important areas to focus on is grassroots innovation and local heroes. Across India, there are countless individuals—farmers adopting natural farming, teachers using creative learning methods, women leading self-help groups, and youth building startups in small towns. Highlighting such stories not only recognizes their efforts but also inspires millions of others. These real-life examples create emotional connection and motivate people to contribute in their own ways. Another key theme should be youth empowerment and skill development. India is one of the youngest nations in the world, and its future depends on how well its youth are guided.
