The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

Pasighat being the gate way of the Arunachal Pradesh,its has all the potential to be a smart city,in my opinion metro cities like Mumbai or Calcutta they are already known as smart city,they have all basic amenities,city like Pasighat needs all round development,Pasighat still don't have such facilities,smart city means  upgradation,which means we have to upgrade such cities who has still no basic infracture or basic amenities.

In my opinion Pasighat needs well plan drainage system,sewerage system,all types of equipment for sanitation,solid waste management,all sector road should be properly developed,24hrs water supply or electric should be there,I mean all public amenities should be there,in Tourism sector Pasighat needs like water kingdom,mini zoo,amusement park,proper embankment of siang river & highly modern equipment should be there with all facilities.
