Delhi - Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is India's most ambitious Infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as "Smart Cities" and converging next generation technologies across infrastructure sectors. The objective is to expand India's manufacturing and services base and develop DMIC as a "Global Manufacturing and Trading Hub". The programme will provide a major impetus to planned urbanization in India with manufacturing as the key driver.
In addition to new Industrial Cities, the programme envisages development of infrastructure linkages like power plants, assured water supply, high capacity transportation and logistics facilities as well as softer interventions like skill development programme for employment of the local populace. In the first phase seven new industrial cities are being developed. The programme has been conceptualized in partnership and collaboration with Government of Japan.
The logo of DMICDC should be innovative and should echo the objective and the work being done by DMICDC.
Selected design will get a prize money of Rs.50, 000/-.
The last date of submission is 31st December, 2015.

Logo For Delhi - Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)
this logo reflects the structure of industrial infrastructure in a specified manner which conveys the thing that the industrial infrastructure is the vital role player for converting the city in to the "SMART CITY".

Here is my entry for Delhi - Mumbai Industrial Corridor there was some confusion between DIMC and DMICDC. I chose to work on DIMC. I took more modern approach in this logo. bright colours are striking. I hope you people will like. Thanks #DelhiMumbaiIndustrialCorridor #DMICDC #MyGov

Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (Blue Grey Red -Engines)
1.DMIC represented in yellow and shown as industries with "I" as industry exhaust.
2.The space beneath has an engine representing large locomotive.
3.The blue design in the engine is a dam-reservoir representing water source.
4.The yellow headlight is the turbine generating power from the reservoir.
5.The Engine window is a book representing the soft skills.
6.The track below the engine is the conveyor belt representing an industry.

Please accept my entry for DMIC. This is my first logo I am intending to make one more logo. The Idea is to show all the infrastructure facility in Delhi - Mumbai Industrial Corridor. So I used Shipping, roads, Train. The logo shows connection between mountain (north India) to sea (western India). #DelhiMumbaiIndustrialCorridor, #DMIC, #MyGov
