During his Mann ki Baat on 27th December 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested that we utilise the occasion of Republic Day to reacquaint ourselves with our national heroes by voluntarily cleaning their statues and the accompanying premises.
Citizens have actively taken up this suggestion and have converted it into a #StatueCleaning week beginning from 23rd January 2016, the birth anniversary of revolutionary freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. On 26th January we celebrated our 67th Republic Day and remembered the contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of our Constitution. This way, during that week, it became not only an opportunity to acquaint ourselves again with the lives of these great Indians, but also to pay our homage to many other of our national heroes, by cleaning their statutes and spreading awareness about their work.
Now, on 14th April, we celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. It will again be an opportunity to pay homage to the Father of our Constitution and acquaint ourselves with his works and teachings.
On this forum, creators of #StatueCleaning events and volunteers taking part in these events can upload the pictures of their activities using the hashtag #StatueCleaning. These contributions can then also be shared on Twitter and Facebook.

आप और माननीय गडकरी जी इको फ्रेंडली बैटरी चलित रिक्शा को प्रोमोट कर रहे है जो की हमारे बताबारन के लिए अनुकूल भी है इसलिए में उत्तर प्रदेश के शाहजहाँपुर की तहसील जलालाबाद में एरिक्षव मौफॅक्टरिंग यूनिट लगाना चाहता था मैंने 4 माह पहले पंजाब नेशनल बैंक की जलालाबाद शाखा में लोन के लिए अप्लाई किया था जब 4 माह बीतने पर अत्यधिक् परेसान होने के बाद मैंने लोन में देरी का कारन पूछा तो बैंक ने यह कह के लोन रिजेक्ट कर दिया की इ-रिक्शा का कोई फ्यूचर नहीं है
कितना बड़ा बलिदान किया होगा उन्होंने जो उनकी प्रतिमा शहर की शान बनकर बीच चौराहे पर लगाइ गइ।
अब उन प्रतिमाओं पर यदि हमने कपड़ा लगा दिया तो हमारा क्या बिगड़ गया इतना तो हम कर ही सकते हैं।
Regarding Polythene bags being used by vendors, I suggest to run some advertisements for the households to carry recyclable bags as we use to do when I was a child. Its time to visit the good olden days again!
Dear Modiji, Thanks for all the initiatives that is been taken. I suggest that Statue cleaning can be taken up by the private corporation sponsors and in turn should be provided tax breaks. Off course there has to be some inspections in place to check the completion of work.

प्रत्येक जिले की नगर - पालिका की कार्यो की समीछा हो , तथा जिस - जिस जिलों या सहरो , अथवा , महानगरो में कचरा निस्तारण केंद्र पहले से मौजूद है , और किन्ही कारणों से बंद पड़े उन सहरो , जिलों या महानगरो में उस केंद्र को तत्काल चालू कराये जाए ---!

I know this is not concern with this topic but sir/m'am there is lack of information media for yojnas..most of time there is yojnas but there is lack of information to people about it. and media of today is shows advertisement more than yojna awareness.. sir if possible pls make a separate website and app..where all the information regarding yojnas is available. so that people who wanted to know or tell other people they can use it in better way..thanks.

some amout should pay to panchayats or municipality or nagar-paliks in order to clean it. and amout should pay pr statute & make a app or something like that where people can review about it that work is done or not..if not they can review directly and government directly can say to panchayats or municipality to do asap.
In Govt. Departments. Offices, Corporations and all govt. organisations swatchaa Bharat teams should be formed and for that teams One person should take care of that team for one week to look after office premises clean and that best team will be awarded in the Swatchaa Bharat function once in a year. This system we will do in Schools and Hostel generally. Contractors in Civil bodies after laying roads, pipe lines should clear debries otherwise they should be black listed. encourage jute produc
First of all; grateful thanks to Prime Minister Modi Ji for this initiative. Our team made a valuable effort at Chennai after Floods. We cleaned 15 areas & contributed towards #MyCleanIndia which indirectly connects to #StatueCleaning (Bringing Smile to others life) as well as 2 Statue (Swami Vivekananda) Cleaned by other team at Varanasi.
