We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. ...

We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

To achieve mission of Digital pasighat and Smart City, Information Technology is playing most important role. Every deptt. must be Digitized. This can be done by creating post of technical expert in IT Cadre like School Information Managers in edu. deptt.These managers are handling all online IT work of the deptt.So,there must be sanctioned post of Info. Manager in every school in IT cadre of deptt. and this kind of post should be created in all depths. also to streamline all IT work.

surveillance cameras and street lights should be installed for security and safety. What i conclude is reviewing the basic facilities of pasighat is that pasighat almost have the basic requirement.only need is proper execution and implementation of these facilities according to the guidlines.cctv has been dysfunctional since the time of installation in pasighat.What i mean to say is pasighat should not only change from outside, but also change from inside.

Our Pasighat being a least populated city across the country will give us an extra edge over execution of city planning which has vast areas for its expansion too from all four directions. But our people will have to coordinate in all front to make the execution of plannings successful by means of not putting hurdles in ceding lands etc. as for every development to take place, one will have to compromise with lands for widening of road/construction of drainage and other modern day facilities.

The term "smart cities" is a bit ambiguous. Some people choose a narrow definition—i.e. cities that use information and communication technologies to deliver services to their citizens. I prefer a broader definition: Smart cities use information and communication technologies (ICT) to be more intelligent and efficient in the use of resources, resulting in cost and energy savings, improved service delivery and quality of life, and reduced environmental footprint—all supporting innovation.

Most important development is education.after graduation students wre shift in other state for their further study collages is important for the development of education ,education play a vital role in the development without education development is nextto impossible.education maens development withot education it is like nothing half knowledge is always danger.

Transport problem is also a big problem because without it is nothing.in rainy day roads were blocked people face lot of problem regarding transport.there is scarcity of food like rice,in rainy days roads block and LPG is unavailable if is development come in pasighat than it is good for all.
