We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. ...

We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

WE CAN ENACT A LAW TO REGULATE PRIVATE PROPERTY HOLDINGS OF EVERY CITIZEN. WE OFTEN INVEST OUR ENTIRE LIFETIME EARNINGS ON BUYING LAND AND CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS. IF THE GOVT PUTS CERTAIN LIMIT ON US WE WILL START SPENDING ON LIFESTYLE STUFFS LIKE CARS, HOUSEHOLD STUFFS, FASHIONS, ETC ETC. THIS WAY ONE WILL START SPENDING QUALITY LIFESTYLE. MAY SOUND AWKWARD BUT THAT IS WHAT I EXACTLY FEEL SO. SMARTNESS WILL CERTAINLY FOLLOW.

why pasighat deserves to be one of the smart city-1)it is naturally blessed with plain landscapes.2)it has the mighty siang river catering the needs of water shortages and electricity problem .3)it has geograpical advantages for sustainable development like wind mill etc,4)it has a huge scope for expansion because most of its areas are unused in modern sense.5)despite miles away from the state capital it stands next to the capital in terms of development and facilities.6)people are law abiding.

We all know about the incrediable north east.in north east we have many districs. Arunachal Pradesh is one of the state of india.it is beautiful and wonderfulstate.pasighat is one of the beautiful and peaceful place.now,pasighat also declared as smart city.pasighat is not big but it is good place .smart city Is the point where we can manage our development .if development come in pasighat it help us many ways like economic development,education development,social development etc.

Energy efficient in planning and design may be looked into while preparing the DPR. Also, it is very important that we do not create a Concrete jungle or Urban jungle where the heat energy is entrapped to haunt us day and night. We can have structures using locally available materials with fabulous designs to act more and more tourists.... Living standard can also be raised by judicious utilisation of our expenditures.

When Smart City come up our main challenge will be Electricity. For that we can not depend on others. Therefore Hydro Power generation is must. One big channel or drain need to be plan, passing from high region to lower region touching market area for proper drainage. All roads with proper drainage along with provision for water pipe, power cable & telecommunication cable have to be incorporate. Road along bank of Siang & Sibo Korong needs to revamp in line with Marine Drive.

In the smart city proper drainage system should be implementing. Availability of water is necessary in a city. Our pasighat should have all this facilities. Rivers should be cleaned. Every school must have natural resource can be use for the production of electricity. Cleaned. City is require.
