We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

To be a better smart city. Firstly we have to make better transport facilities and the roads and the traffic system and many rules to be followed strictly and the city should be clean. I know that it is hard to keep the city clean but my suggestion to keep city clean is to make dustbins in the maximum past of the city and there should be a rile that if anybody have caught throwing garbage’s it should be fined and all the people should through garbage’s to dustbin.

First of all,I think the peoples mentality should change. I rally want the peoples mentality to be more advanced. There should be better education facilities for everyone and that too at prices,So,that the poor people can afford it. Their should be 24 hrs electricity supply, better transportation and communication should be there. So,I am just wishing for Pasighat to became a Smart City soon

First of all thanks for thinking of this all kinds of ideas and take care of people and our nation. It's time to pay attention for issues like girl’s educations, girl’s security, all people’s health and so many issues. It is important to make our cities clean and smart. There are few suggestions for this are as follows: 1. To provide streetlight in all cities and villages also. 2. Install CCTV at public place or highways. 3. Also provide free Wi-Fi services at all railway/bus station.

Pasighat lack good electricity department who can handle the needs of people. Why there’s always power shortage, power cut off, sometimes no electricity for a month. It is one of the major problems there’s a need for good peoples to accomplice this need. We are waiting for the day when there will be no problems, scarcity of light in Pasighat!

Which proved by our self and show off that we indeed a backward society and darkness is still exist in our minds. In order to free from unhygienic activities . each and every school, colleges offices etc. must organised a “displine committee.” Serious action must be takes against those people offer notifying in a notice board. Committee must check up thrice in a weeks.

There was massive movement of tree plantation with public participation which has resulted in climate change and reduction of pollution levels. It is time for us to plan massive plantations in coming monsoon period, engage village folks, provide employment opportunities and use rail road and river banks for green belts. Roads in urban areas may have green belts at levels lower than roads allowing free flow of rain water which will prevent damage, traffic jams and lowering of ground.
