Electronics Sector is a critical Sector of the Indian Economy. It is one of the pillars of “Make in India” and “Digital India” programs of the Government.
Keeping in view that the Electronics Manufacturing Sector holds a great potential in the Indian context, and there has been a gap between the achievement and the potential of this sector, NITI Aayog has prepared a Draft Strategy Paper for Make in India in Electronics.
This Strategy paper titled Make in India - Strategy for Electronic Products has been uploaded on NITI Aayog’s website and can be accessed here: http://niti.gov.in/writereaddata/files/document_publication/Electronics%...

We would appreciate valuable comments and inputs on the Strategy Paper from relevant stakeholders and public at large by 15th June 2016.

The strategy should be how the products tend to reach the last common man. 1.Like mobile phone, the base instruments can be wide. But the connectivity is the sim card. Like wise akin to mobile phone set top boxes can be varied and wide. Like sim card people should be allowed to choose any DTH card to fit in any set top boxes and see their choices of channels. 2.BSNL/MTNL should be allowed to exploit the TV market through their broad band spectrum. no set top boxes, dish antennae

For effective MakeInIndia, tax structure must be corrected. Today tax on components is more than that for computer systems. 2. No proper support for mass volume PCBs, passive parts. They are made in China 3. Almost no support base for small players. Indian businesses don't support small orders. Thus R&D is not easy 4. Education system is too poor

Sir, we are facing a drastic scarcity of water in various parts of India but the Reverse Osmosis(RO) based water purifiers which are nowadays in every Indian homes drain a large quantity of water through an outlet pipe declaring as undrinkable. On an average, it gives 5 litre RO water on the cost of a bucketful undrinkable water. We can reuse it, by directing the outlet pipe to the inlet of our house's water tanks.I want the companies to mull over the issue and through R&S, improve the product.

Sir, As we all know we have thousands kms of canals in every states, the boundaries of the canals are empty. So if we stand solar panels on these boundaries at equal distance and make solar hub(dam) on every 25 km then we make solar switching or aggregators station through which we can supply plenty of electricity to villages. This can boost electronic industry, manufacturing sector and villages can got light which brings happiness and prosperity.
