Please note that India spent excess energy for Rs 10,74,600 cr in 2012 with respect to Denmark. So please switch off tour light and fan when you lock your room or house. Your electric bill will be less. Others will get still quality of electricity.

Respected PM, Public should be motivated on saving electricity and pay less electric bill. One unit saved is equivalent to 4.35 or 3.65 units heat requirement for 210 MW or 500 MW thermal unit. It is not one unit saved is one unit generated.

use solar devices..frugal use of water to minimise costs involved in pumping water..restrict electricity usage during peak hours ..TO save Lpg..use biogas plants,pressure cookers copper bottom equipments etc..HOW TO INSPIRE OTHERS.. the money gained through energy saving methods can be put into a seperate bank account and the saved amount can be shown to others to inspire them..also this saved money can be used in to purchase energy saving products

The efforts at energy conservation should begin at the individual level .As regards to fuel..use public transport system as far as possible..take care not to use private vehicle during peak hours of traffic congestion as it will cost more fuel..not to buy luxury cars as its mileage is low..proper and timely maintenance of vehicles to ensure efficiency...To Save electricity..switch off lights and electrical equipments when not in use..buy star rated equipments..use Led lights ....CONTINUED..

Respected PM, Field officers in executive cadre have to exercise their financial powers and invest Rs 1000 even for replacement to electronic chokes for 6 nos in a month. In 6 months all tube lights may be with electronic chokes.

Respected PM, Street lighting has to be switched off one to two hours before sun raise. This should be done by timer provision eliminating manual involvement. We sent rocket to Mars. Hence these things are small.
