Waste segregation is the pre requisite for better management...local bodies should be incentivized for better segregation/penalized for irresponsible handling. Once segregation is achieved, stress should be on converting waste to energy/ waste to resource. Incentivizing these efforts and explicitly advertising these efforts can help bring forth innovative solutions.

After the 50 cities/150 towns are selected there should be a website (could be mygov.nic.in) where people can rate/vote 1-5(1 being very satisfied, 5 being very dissatisfied) for their cities/towns. This will help government to really gauge the pulse of the people in those cities and also get a feel for how good the implementation is,whether there is corruption at the lower levels while implementing the scheme. In fact this rating could be used for all govt schemes whether state/central/local !!

Issue of controlling filth pertains primarily to human and industrial wastes.I shall restrict to human wastes in response to this task.Filth due to human waste is causing concern in slums in metros, congested areas in and around city centres, railway stations, hill stations which due to influx of tourists have not been able to develop STPs commensurately.Similarly villages with no toilet facilities are afflicted.Solution lies in creation of toilets with STPs based on chemical plants and water.

1. Please make it mandatory for every restaurant, office, hospital, hotel, school, college, mall etc. to have different garbage can for dry and wet waste. 2. One of the technologies that is proving to be successful in treating garbage is the Nisargruna biogas technology. Dr Sharad Kale, a scientist at Mumbai’s Bhabha Atomic Research Center, who helped develop this method. 3. Create a workforce of waste pickers, which will give them a respectful job and will help society too.

vaise bhi ye pilo testing project h to kyo na mega and class 1 city ki baat na kar ke class-2 or 3 cities pe concentrate kare jo ki future me grow karegi aur is se ek fyda ye hoga ki basically migration ka main reason infrastrecture facility status of life quality h. agr ye sari facility ham medium city me provide karenge to log metro city ki trf attract kam honge. jis se metro cities par population ka pressure kam hoga aur tab ham acche se us cities me ye sai facility provide kar sakte h ..
