1.Government- Strict Laws and heavy fines should be made and set up of dustbins with name USE ME or hindi name More CCTV cameras set up proper signboards. 2.Saints- All saints should use a separate dustbin for the SAAMAGRIS waste after HAWAN or POOJA. 3. NGO`S- Should tell people about cleaning Ganga Make campaigns and making fund and donations from people to help save ganga. 4. Individual- Should not throw garbage Near Ganga river. Dont spit near Ganga, Implement laws of government

For me "Clean Ganga" signifies cleaning all the rivers of India. This can be started by reducing water wastage in our daily routine life.This is easiest way which can be implemented at individual level. I have a project which is low cost and involve significant percentage of water wastage. Please find the attached file for further details.

Effluent treatment plants are required but without stabilizing Ganga to control stream bank erosion & channel migration, it is not possible to Clean Ganga on durable basis and develops inland navigation. R&D by Dr. Nayan Sharma, IIT Roorkee on Piano Key Weir Barrages for in-stream storage to dilute pollutants is recommended for use in Ganga. With navigation terminals near PKW barrages, cargo transport is possible for trade & commerce with resulting employment generation and poverty alleviation.

This task should be under the supervision of the GOVT but the funds for cleaning and for up gradation should be taken under a trust where everyone can donate and make our Holy river Ganga clean...And appart from this trust should give a infrastructure company whole project with a time limit to complete this project without escalation clause to make it a beautiful tourist place and Clean Ganga.

Since on of the prime reason for pollution of Ganga is the Unused Spiritual material(Burnt ash,Papers,Calendars,Cards etc) No one will Discontinue the process of Dumping them in ganga as from the childhood they are told "ISKO GANGAJI MEIN BAHADENA" So why don't our government arrange a alternative for this by introducing a scheme called Swach Ganga Abhiyan wherin One authorized vehicle run in length and breadth of each city and collect all those materials which were otherwise to be dumped.

Formation and strengthening of Curative Institutional Mechanism with Ecohealthcare policy (ecosystem approach for river restoration) and action plans should be insulated from politicization, administrative delays, hurdles, inactions and corrupt practices. A standard Quality Assurance and Control System as Indian Waters (IW series) to ensure from sourcing to recycling or discharge of water at every stage "Process, Infrastructure and Monitoring Quality".
