यातायात की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए स्मार्ट सुझाव दें। इस समाधान में अभिनव डिजिटल प्रौद्योगिकी, प्रशासनिक और आर्किटेक्चरल समाधान और कार्य प्रवाह की डिजाइन का प्रयोग प्रतियोगिता में वर्णित समस्याओं को हल करने के लिए किया जा सकता है, लेकिन यह इसी तक सीमित नहीं हो सकता है। इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। प्रश्न- 1. अपने घर के बाहर यातायात से निपटने के लिए एक स्मार्ट समाधान या नवीन प्रौद्योगिकी का सुझाव दें। 2. एक मोटर गाड़ी में 4 व्यक्ति तथा एक सार्वजनिक बस में 40 व्यक्ति आराम से बैठ सकते है। एक स्मार्ट सिटी में कैसे कार और बस की जरूरतों को संतुलन किया जा सकता हैं? 3. अभिनव प्रौद्योगिकियों तथा स्मार्ट समाधान के उपयोग के माध्यम से अपने शहर में सुरक्षित और अधिक आरामदायक बस यात्रा कैसे कर सकते हैं? प्रविष्टि की समय सीमा • प्रविष्टियों को mygov.in पोर्टल द्वारा शनिवार, 20 जून, 2015 से 23.59 घंटे (11:59) पर ऑनलाइन प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है। मूल्यांकन प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन निम्नलिखित मानदंडों के आधार पर किया जाएगाः • मत क्षमता (50%) • अभिनव (50%) पुरस्कार प्रत्येक श्रेणी में दो विजेताओं को निम्नलिखित राशि के नकद पुरस्कार के साथ-साथ, स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के लॉन्च पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जून 2015 को विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में एक प्रशस्ति पत्र से सम्मानित किया जाएगाः • प्रथम पुरस्कार - 40,000 रु. • द्वितीय पुरस्कार - 25,000 रु. विजेता सुझाव को कार्यान्वयन के समाधान के रूप में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के साथ साझा किया जाएगा तथा पायलट परियोजनाओं के लिए भी इस सुझाव पर विचार किया जाएगा। • इस श्रेणी में प्रतिभागी को शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग में सक्षम होने के लिए पुछे गए सभी सवालों के उत्तर के साथ पूर्ण विवरण भी प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए। • प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए प्रतिभागियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रविष्टियों का मुल्याकंन स्वतंत्र रूप से और योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा। एक से अधिक श्रेणी में शॉर्ट-लिस्टिंग के मामले में, एक भागीदार को केवल एक श्रेणी के लिए ही पुरस्कार राशि प्राप्त होगी। • प्रत्येक उत्तर की लंबाई 250 या उससे कम शब्दों में होनी चाहिए। पुरस्कार राशि के नियम एवं शर्तें और विवरण के लिए यहां क्लिक करें

Mumbai city being an island city is grappling with various problems like shortage of land, water logging, etc. Such island cities require elevated rail & road transport, along with desalination of sea water plants, bigger sewage channels directed deep inside the sea (post processing). Coastal & Island cities can explore the water ways to reduce traffic and pollution problems.

While Delhi has major traffic bottlenecks, some solutions could be A. One Dwelling unit can buy one four wheeler & one two wheeler.The linkage should be with house number. One has to bid for vehicle, just like Singapore thus generating revenue for Corporations. B. Limit usage of fuel per month for each vehicle thus prompting usage of public trpt. C. The buses be differently abled. Front entry for women and rear for men. Entry thru smart card. Put more Cctv. Educate riders. Yoga for rowdy !!

Different cities have different transport requirement. Cities should be categorised on the basis of main occupations and economy like tourism, trade, service industry, population, density and on such categories development blueprint should be prepared categorywise considering next 50 yrs of projections. This will bring uniformity in transport system on India level in similar cities and ease the usage and awareness in public about the system.

Answer 3: a) Avoid overloading in bus. b) Deploy a home guard or some protection force person (just like RPF in railway), who will be responsible for bus safety and smooth operation. c) Installation of biodegradable toilet in long route bus and CCTV in all bus. d) Start ladies special bus only for ladies with female conductor. e) Application and renewal of bus passes can be done through web & APP. f) Frequency of bus should be as per no. of passengers,which can achieve by data analysis.

#MeraShaharMeraSapna (2)There are times when we could see the big cars to cause traffic jam in the narrow streets.As like restricting the lorries entering inside the cities,the narrow streets also should be marked to restrict the big vehicles usage at the peak working hours in cities.

#MeraShaharMeraSapna 1.Based on the data of schools and its students resident areas, the school timings/class timings or public bus timings could be rearranged.School children's free bus passes data could be analyzed for this. 2.Car pooling should be encouraged by government to reduce the inefficient car usages. 3.Use of CCTV surveillance camera inside the buses to monitor the issues in the problematic area buses could be extended to other area buses also for safety purposes.

Pressure is mounting on traffic authorities to maintain proper channelization of traffic, maintain law and order, indentifying and punishing the people who violate traffic rules, reduce and clear traffic jams and reduce the number of accidents on roads. Therefore, we require an efficient and intelligent system for monitoring traffic. This inspired us to come up with the idea of developing a “BHARTIYA TRAFFIC INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM (BTIS)”. Mainly it solve Red light Jumping and further for railways.
