There should be more planned activities to keep Ganga clean irrelevant of Resources and Expenses.So that,Future generations are, no need to spend the money like what we are doing now(All are people's money). The Gov should take the complete responsibility and has to make sure that, these kind of problems not to arise in future by Imposing the Strict rules, laws and forming Committee for Ganga Maintenance to save Ganga(Mother of the Nation).Each and Every Indian should support our Govt on this.

CLEAN GANGA - PRIORITY ISSUES SUBMITTED

For cleaning of the ganga river, it's essential to have a defined area for attempting cleanliness and without effecting any religious sentiment. For having a specific area we need to cordon off the river fronts using Booms. The booms may be deployed at certain distance inward in the river on both the banks where relatively large cultural activities and human interactions happen. Then appoint a cleaning firm to clean within the boom area. Make a small jetty for fishing vessels and have them dock.

Sewage is the biggest problem. These engineers and town planners never think about sewage comes out of cities. It all goes to river and destroy the whole system of river. Every running water has an atma and has its clarification system but once sewage is more than clean water,this system fails. Fountains on the bank dry out.Make sewage treatment plant mandatory for every colony,town and township. Within 5 yrs Ganga will be clean,all rivers will flow with full swing as fountain will regenerate.

Sir, I found following difficulties near the ganga 1. Due to rain water flows underground sever age to the river creates holes on road. 2 severage water cause kills fishes there. 3. Most of the polythin bag bought there as puja-samgri container. 4.chemicals comes near the bank mostly chemical based color on idols or soap used by waserman or petro chemical by boat. 5.desposes even from munespality 6. People near the gangs in Patna allow to flow their latrines directly in the severage to ganga.

Biggest threat to pollution at Ganga is people urinating in water during kumbh mela. I being a resident at Nasik found 70% other impurities in drinking water leading to health hazards plz find a soliution to it ...to help this out I suggest that people should be given sealed containers of water so that they can carry to their homes and bath.selling of holy water also to leads to financial help n Ganga remains clean ...
