For making Shivamogga City as SMART CITY all Citizens or Stakeholders are invited to participate in Essay Writing Competition.

Your Essay to have following templates:

1. Topic (Max 25 Words)

2. What is Top Priority Area/Idea for Making Shivamogga City as Smart city (in Max 150 Words)

3. Why is it important for city (Shivamogga City)? (Max 150 Word)

4. What is your smart solution to implement your Idea (Max 200 Words)

The Top 5 Essays will be awarded as:

a) 1st Prize(One)– Cash Incentive of Rs. 25000 /- (Twenty five Thousand only)

b) 2nd Prize(One) – Cash Incentive of Rs.20000 /- (Twenty Thousand only)

c) 3rd Prize(One) – Cash Incentive of Rs. 15000 /- (Fifteen Thousand only)

d) 4th Prize(One) – Cash Incentive of Rs. 10000 /- (Ten Thousand only)

e) 5th Prize (Six)– Cash Incentive of Rs. 5000 /- (Five Thousand only) each.

The Competition shall be closed on 30th October, 2015.

Terms and Conditions

1. The winner shall be chosen on the basis of Innovative and Actionable idea and creativity.

2. The decision of Shivamogga City Corporation for selecting the winner shall be treated as Final.

Introduce smart street lighting system,with LED lights of 40W capacity, with a LithiumIon battery storage. Lights will have dusk to dawn controller, and can also be solar powered. Use smart street lights as wifi hot opts to create a citywide wifi mesh network. Create integrated transportation with buses having smart ticketing with NFC prepaid cards. Create rent-a cycle stations at major bus stops, to help last mile connectivity. Indicate exact location of buses in a mobile app using GPS & wifi.

1 step to enter the Green land and feel the heaven. Need to improve further on Tourism platform. Hence top Priority would be Transportation facility. Enhancement of hotels and restaurant facility and also improving existing facilities available nearby tourist spots to international standards. Introducing direct flight facility from other tourism hubs of our india to our town.Advertising shivamogga's attraction all over the world! and following huge employments towards shivamogga residents!

2. தொலைவில் செல்லும் அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் பேருந்துகளின் இரண்டு படிக்கட்டின் அருகில் குப்பை பாக்ஸ் வைக்க வேண்டும்.மேலும் பயணிகளின் பார்வைக்கு குப்பை தொட்டியை பயன்படுத்தி பேருந்தை தூய்மையாக வைக்க அறிவிப்பு படங்களை ஒட்ட வேண்டும்.இந்த குப்பைகளை பேருந்து நிலையங்களில் துப்புரவு பணியாளர்கள் மூலம் அகற்றிட வழி செய்ய வேண்டும். இதனால் நாடும் தூய்மை அடையும்.

1.பேருந்து வசதி அதிகமாக இல்லாத தடங்களில் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு காலை மற்றும் மாலை நேரங்களில் தனி பேருந்துகளை இயக்க வேண்டும்.இதனால் ஷேர் ஆடோக்களில் சென்று அவதிப்படும் மாணவ மாணவியர்களுக்கு மிகவும் பயனுள்ளதாக அமையும்.இது ஒருசில மாவட்டங்களில் நடைமுறையில் உள்ளது.
