Project Management with my Msc dissertation topic of Mitigation of UHI effects in city by way of planning and designing. I strongly feel, along with positive approach towards towards caring of climate, shall also focus on UHI Mitigation and would like you to shed some light on the topic to encourage designers and planner to opt for sustainable approach towards development.

CLIMATE JUSTICE - INDC-SUGGESTIONS- CONTD. -XIV 19.Agriculture & Rural Development - Burning of crop stubble, excessive usage of fertilizers and pesticides, continues to be a serious problem in rural areas. Rather than coercive tactics which are turning ineffective, farmers need to be sensitised on the aspect that such activities damage the fertility of his land, which leads to wastage of huge money on fertilizers and other nutrients Regards, Rajkaran Singh Bhatti Chandigarh 9780005656

Few suggestions to reduce carbon footprint and towards green energy: - All traffic signals across country should be solar powered. - Street lights in cities should be solar powered - Like Gujrat – cover all irrigation cannels with solar panel, that will produce electricity in one side and on the other side, it will save water (from being evaporated). - Setup windmill around coastal areas, which are usually windy place.

Green bonds for long term financing of hydro power projects is gathering momentum globally . Our FIs like PFC and REC need to look at these hydro dedicated Green Bonds . There are notably successful green bonds issued, recent being from Japan.

The INDC plan ,excellent in intent and direction, seeks to be sharpened in actionable plan through appropriate policy reforms and enunciation where needed. We have a good chance of winning global applause by supporting "better hydro, better climate". Countries that have utilized their hydro potential well have strong economies. The"ecological harm" by hydro is a myth and a non-issue . It has been proven ,recently, in scientific terms. Storage Hydropower enlivens our rivers all around the year.
