• Sustainable Lifestyles
• Cleaner Economic Development
• Reduce Emission intensity of Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
• Increase the Share of Non Fossil Fuel Based Electricity
• Enhancing Carbon Sink (Forests)
• Adaptation
• Mobilizing Finance
• Technology Transfer and Capacity Building

Selected ideas and names would also be mentioned by the Hon. Minister and other experts during the MyGov Talk.

All over world discussions are going on to reduce emissions, Car free day are offered but ZERO EMISSIONS technology developed by an Indian got 2nd prize in IEEE ITEC-2015 Intn conf , I am surprised that zero emissions around world like running metro on road with rubber wheel is waiting for Govt approval. It may show developed countries that India can also lead world. Under make in India, this will change it to made in India and made by India. SAE has published : papers.sae.org/2015-28-0069. pl

The resource management by the local communities is well represented by their conservation practices based on the traditional and customary actions. There are diversity of customs and traditions which result into vividness in the conservation practices. Thus, the socio-ecological systems could be used for site-specific conservation programs and the policies.

The concept of ‘Aranya Samskruti’ (Forest Culture) deeply embedded in the rituals and conventions of the Indians depict the picture of its eco-centric approach. The Indian customs describes the symbiotic relationship of human and nature through its traditional principle of ‘Prakruti Purush’ (nature and man).

Social dimensions are directly connected to the local ecological setup of the region which is evident in the culture. Almost all cultures have in some way or other recognized the importance that nature and its biological diversity has had upon them and the need to maintain it. If we are causing the environmental degradation, we have the power to stop it.

There is no ‘waste’ in the Indian culture. The ‘theory of sustainable development’ is there in Indians. The only point is that we should follow the rules of nature. Our ancestors have given the ethics which are compatible with our surroundings.
