New Knowledge, pedagogies and approaches for teaching of Science, Maths and Technology in School Education to improve learning outcomes of Students

Poor science and maths education (and English) accounts for 80 per cent of total students who fail in Tenth Board Examination. The low enrolment in science stream at higher secondary level and poor-quality education is a constraint in development of scientific manpower in the country. Science and Maths education would need special attention. We need to deliberate and find workable strategies for strengthening the quality of teaching & learning processes for better outcomes; innovations and diversity of approaches in matters of curricula, pedagogies and use of technology to improve the learning levels.

Information in use is knowledge but only limited information by the limited students is utilized for india Dr.Sushruta said practice less education make a person wingless bird which con’t fly. I want to add practice must be perfect, productive and social responsible which give the result fruitful and make in India comes true. For this we need to modify our education system by adding some additional tasks to the students from the secondary school.

It surprising that contents of course/syllabi is not upgraded regularly. The course curriculum of science must be calibrated with latest discovery in the area, to make the subject interesting to the students.

#17: There needs to be clarity on whether assessments are being carried out for improving the individual child or for collecting data on whether govt systems work.
