Respected Modi ji,
I made a project "PC&DP" by which Indian railways going to be huge profit.
If we put this device on every railway station then (5-8 for small& 15-20 for big station) then calculate how much money our gov. will get .
By using this no one can use free power such charging their mob. phone, laptop for 2 -3hrs free. Now for they they have to pay Rs. 20 for 1hrs. Then guess how money our railway got.
From 1 station in 1 day = 480 from 1 device & for 20= 9600 in 1day.

Government is talking about FDI, in which we will get technology*(as per they are saying). But
we are not going to get any technology or we will get rejected on. So, basically we need to
rely on ourselves. we need to focus on that area , then only we can compete with the world.
Otherwise, world will not let us grow.

Thanks for all the views and comments so far. It may be worthwhile to consider the following aspects during the talk tomorrow:
1. Is there scope for innovation to address this issue itself? All the outlined strategies are not game-changers. Will more of same deliver better?
2.If India is to be an acknowledged global destination for effective research and innovation, we will need to offer unmatched fiscal (read-tax) incentives for global and domestic companies. We have intellectual capabilities

If we define Research as a process of focussed actions and activities towards a particular direction to add value to existing body of knowledge and information then one of the best ways wil be to liberalise norms for Ph.D. ( avoiding regular class/ residential requirement etc. ) This will unleash a force multiplier through which a large number of mid career professionals will be able to pursue their dream research projects which they cannot do now. The effect will be truly significant.

Is the ministry of skill development asking the sector skill council to create PROJECT REPORTS (on the lines of QP/NOS) for the budding entrepreneurs? This would promote research and innovation too.
