Face Serum Have you ever thought about using oils as face moisturisers? Yes, you heard right! Facial oils are renowned for boosting skin's natural health, while also giving it an almost instantaneous smooth, soft and flowing appearance. If you thought that moisturisers only come in cream form, you have never put the amazing properties of serum oils to the test.

Nipple Cream There are so many baby and mama moisturisers out there, and each seems to tackle a slightly different problem. Natural salves are amazing for cracked nipples and so much better for both you and the baby than chemically packed ones. And they can also be used to treat nappy rash, as they are designed for delicate skin types, including baby ones.

Vegan Blusher If you like your makeup routine to be vegan, cruelty free, plastic free and sustainable, then make sure to choose some sustainable powder blushers. Use them to bring colour to your cheeks, as eyeshadows or even add them to a neutral lip balm to create your own lip gloss!

Vegan Foundation Most people are used to cream foundation. It is easy to apply and to rub into the skin, however more often than not it also comes in plastic tubes that can rarely be recycled. A great eco-friendly alternative is to choose powder foundation, which tends to come in refillable plastic free containers and, as the name suggests, is in the form of thin powder that can be applied with a foundation brush.

Sustainable Eye Shadow If you are looking for eyeshadow ideas, in particular natural eyeshadow, then some of the things to keep in mind when looking for a truly eco-friendly makeup are: cruelty free and vegan, ideally free from sls and palm oil, especially if not from certified sustainable sources. Powdered mineral eyeshadows are great as they can be easily stored in metal or class containers, or into bamboo casings, therefore allowing for refills without the need to always buy an eyeshadow palette with the whole packaging.

Natural Lipstick Makeup has been around since very ancient times, there are records of natural makeup being used in Ancient Egypt, and women then used their own version of vegan lipsticks by simply using fruits to add colour to their lips. Luckily now there are natural lipstick solutions that last a lot longer and don’t need a daily trip to the market!

Nail Polish  If you love your nails to look colourful and fun, but you also want a product that is free from toxic ingredients and from plastic, make sure that you choose ones that come in reusable bottles (glass is great). Enriched in silica from bamboo oil, this eco-friendly nail polish by ZAO Essence of Nature is a much more sustainable manicure.

Shaving Soap Bar Shaving is such a wasteful activity. The whole industry is completely obsessed with plastic or chemically packed products, from disposable razors to shaving creams. Luckily safety razors put a stop to all this waste. The most important step is to always use a shaving cream of soap when shaving as this will dramatically reduce the risk of cuts and irritation to the skin
