This task requires you to identify 10 most important initiatives that centre and state governments should take to realise the PM’s vision of digital India.

There has been a flood of suggestions in response to the Prime Minister’s vision for a digital India. It is important to prioritize the ideas and come up with a practical roadmap of what can be taken up first with maximum benefit to the nation. This task will help in drawing such a roadmap.

1. IT educated or aware persons to train 5 person in neighborhood. 2. A letter of appreciation from Gram panchayat/Jila parishad. 3. A call for volunteers for training and make them aware and help people use ITeS. 4. WIFI ZONE / Computer centre in Gram panchayat office. 5. Industry to contribute as CSR in this initiative and to be given Letter of appreciation on contribution. 6. local Industry to come forward to maintain IT facility like E choupal by ITC. 7. Banks to conduct regular interaction

Web site for direct online retail/wholesale selling of Agriculture products by farmers and home delivery 4. Portal Complete online interaction of central govt., state govt., distrcit, tehsil admn & panchayat for effective governance in synchronism and also transparent & open to public for their views. 5. All post-offices to be converted to data centres for villages.

Integrate RTOs using a networked infrastructure, a centralized clearing house. This will help in easy inter-state transfer of vehicles. People have to pay lifetime road tax at destination state RTO everytime they move. A person moving to another state, can apply for an inter-state transfer, and through the centralized clearing house, will pay only an additional road tax, or get a refund, if destination state road tax is high or low. RTO visit and paperwork will be reduced to a bare minimum
