Hi, Below are my suggestion to make Digital India 1. Internet should be available in villages and cheaper rate 2. Youth from the villages should train on it 3. Trained youth is responsible for train the other people in village 4. Try to avoid papers work in all sectors and prefer scanned copy for the same, Its possible only when we achieve first 2 points

Smart Card: Smart Card for all the automobile users. This card will help tracing the fuel consumption by an individual or an company. This card could also be useful to trace the location of an individual. Citizens would be obliged to carry this card like their atm or credit card . The would be massive help to study the utilization of fuel in the nation and wastage. In future subsidies could be directly given to the citizens who uses automobile .

Each and Every house & shop shall be fitted with CCTV cameras, which monitor the perimeter of the house/shop. The system should be solar powered and cost of the system should be less than Rs. 5000. Govt can setup/collaborate CCTV manufacturing companies to produce them with subsidy. Only the house & shop owner and the Police shall be authorised to access to the recorded data. This way majority of the crimes can be solved and Also most of the illegal activities and crimes will reduce.

in our vehicle there is fuel indicator which indicates the level of fuel but this system is replaced by 7segment display which measure the wt of exact fuel then sun of these petrol mafiyas will be set down.as today on many petrol pumps there was petrol robbery if he pour 1 lit petrol as per his petrol pouring device but many times it was not 1lit.people doesn't get what amount of petrol was poured in his tank so if 7segment display as like weighing machine on the bike then he should claim for it

Can we look at incubating E Gov Companies to build solutions, IPRs , Implement and Operate the projects for the Government & productise the project ? The scale of India is the best .

we really need to educate our students in government schools . I have many Friends which come from government schools and by knowing their poor knowledge in computer science .I think government colleges really need keep an on the qualifications of government teachers. As we all know that government teachers get paid more than any of the private school teachers but still they fail to provide sufficient knowledge . youth should be educated then only People will be aware of Digital India

The task of creating Digital India is a massive task or I should say a huge task. This task starts from the youth and teens of India who are currently studying in IITs and other good government or private engineering colleges enrolled in CS and IT branches. The institutions must make it compulsory for every student to join the Microsoft Dreamspark project from where they can learn from the experts of Microsoft corporation and make softwares free of cost or start up their own business with the help of Microsoft's softwares which are free to all students in every country. From here everyone will get the opportunity to start small business which will definitely create jobs for skilled workers and who knows if there is next Steve Jobs in our Country. This will also help digitalizing India.

Make Govt. machinery work with Country wide information cum application portal. Objective: Portal for information and application with set deadlines for government servants to act. I. Information o Log into 1 portal and select your state to know anything everything that any citizen or a tourist wants to know. This portal should have states approved information from each state in a standard template. II. Application - Action o Log into this portal to apply for voter ID, Passport, Ration card, gas cylinder etc.. Provision to upload all scan documents as mentioned in the site and the relevant authority should approve it or reject it within specified time limits. In case of rejection, remarks should be clearly mentioned; Payment of fees/penalty etc should be made online. o System to report employees not acting on time, pending load status. o If the entire process can be handled online it makes life simpler by not dealing with brokers/agents, reduces corruption and ensures that system delivers on time and in full. 8. Road tax – State to state transfer. Objective - Make state to state transfer of vehicles online and easier Road tax - State to State transfer also to go online with following steps o Every year thousands of people shift from one state to another on work. If states cannot keep road tax uniform as it is a state subject, atleast transfer of tax can happen online. o When one applies for state to state transfer, in the NOC the new state/city is mentioned. o On receipt of NOC, immediately the balance road tax should get credited to the new state. o When the same person takes his car physically and applies for registration in the new state, he should be allowed to pay balance tax or receive balance based on the tax structure in new city/state 9. I have been reading frequently that government and public organisations around the world are increasingly saving costs by shifting to Open Source software. I suggest and recommend from personal and professional experience that the use of FREE software like Linux Ubuntu Operating System and LibreOffice Office Productivity suite be promoted, especially in government offices, to save many crores of our precious money being wasted in buying proprietary software.
