The most important piece of promoting India for Spiritual tourism is by telling the story in a simple, emotional and yet effective way. Some examples could be: "Explore the journey of Buddha": This could include a list of places to visit where Gautam Buddha was born, where he got enlightenment etc. "Experience Vedic life: a civilization that is believed to have started 10,000 years ago" I do agree with the points that Cleaniness, Facilities would etc. be the pillars.

First of all join main spiritual places by roadways and railways which gave there people employment and help to broaden the road and railway in India. And mainly during development of any places don't underestimate the enviornment. Ban on plastic bags in the spiritual places.

The biggest challenge promoting spiritual tourism is the fear of being cheated. More promotion with specific focus around information and readily accessible data would be my first plan of action to promote spiritual tourism. Visitors should be aware of what and when and the history behind it. Special efforts needs to be made to ensure these placards, brochures etc are not destroyed by petty middlement trying to make a few bucks. Also, need to maintain these tourist places.

I don't need an attachment as it's very simple 1) cleanliness is a must 2) maintain hygiene 3) awareness of places by means of advertisement internationally 4) seminars held internationally 5)well planned transport system to religious places 6)SAFETY for Tourists 7) fixed shops and vendors certified by govt so that they don't overpay 8) maintenance of old buildings and the history 9) media channel in every city about the city 10) last but not the least NO RACISM! (Saved space for extra work)
