Do you know why most ppl use private vehicle ? No reliable low cost last mile provider. Solution : Allow 15 - 20 seater Max Cabs/tempo traveler which go closer to residential / office areas as Buses only move on main roads. why Maxi Cabs ? B'coz they are more cost competitive last mile transport provider unlike taxis and autos. They cost as much as Bus fare but can go closer to home and offices than Buses. So why they are not allowed ? Bus Unions put pressure on govt .
