A giant digital harmonization wave is prevalent across the nation. Department of Telecommunications (DOT) acts as precursor in facilitating world class telecommunications infrastructure and services making the Nation connected "anytime-anywhere".

Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology with MyGov gives you an opportunity to participate in competition for Designing New Year e-Greetings with theme ‘Connecting Nation Anytime Anywhere’.

The last date of submission is 22nd October, 2014.

The winning entries will be awarded cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 10,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 7,500/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 5,000/-

Theme of this Greeting is based on the technology that helps to connect whole world. Our National Bird is shown as Satellite, The whole world is within our thoughts as implied by our nation at the center of the Globe and same is surrounded by the people with joy and prosperity. I would like to make an impression that the technology is for development of our nation for an ultimate goal of harmony. we connect India by means of its Cultural and Traditional integrity.

Marking the New Year on a different note, millions of Indians would get a personalised greeting card from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the New Year’s Eve with a message that in 2015 the government will aim to connect entire country on a digital platform either through broadband or mobile phones. Modi in his Independence Day speech had emphasised on “Digital India” as key to transform the country and bring in transparency in governance.
