Department of Information Technology (DEITY), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India seeks entries for designing a suitable Logo and Tagline for Biometric Attendance System.
As part of the “Digital India” programme of Government of India, it has decided to implement common Biometric Attendance System (BAS) in the Central Government Offices (Agencies) located in Delhi to begin with. The proposed system would enable an employee to register attendance by presenting his/her biometric (finger print/Iris) which will be authenticated online by doing one to one match with the bio-metric stored in the UIDAI data centre against the employee’s Aadhaar number. DEITY has been assigned the nodal responsibility to ensure its effective implementation.
More details on the current status of implementation of the bio-metric attendance project can be seen at the attendance.gov.in
Department of Information Technology (DEITY), with aim to get people’s participation for suggesting a suitable logo and tagline for Bio-metric Attendance System (BAS) invites entries in MyGov.
The last date of submission is 15th October, 2014.
The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.

The eye in the logo denotes that BAS scheme is always monitoring your presence and punctuality at offices. Tagline denotes that the regular presence of the employees will help in development of country.

Welcome All, Designed the logo for the Biometric Attendance System (BAS), Here the finger first part witht he green fingerprint (Growing) outer side the nation Ashok Chakra and the font color is in the orange our nation flag colors. Used the Tagline "Mera Samay, Meri Upastithi, Mera Rashtra" My time, My Attendance, My Rashtra.
