Delhi - Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is India's most ambitious Infrastructure programme aiming to develop new industrial cities as "Smart Cities" and converging next generation technologies across infrastructure sectors. The objective is to expand India's manufacturing and services base and develop DMIC as a "Global Manufacturing and Trading Hub". The programme will provide a major impetus to planned urbanization in India with manufacturing as the key driver.
In addition to new Industrial Cities, the programme envisages development of infrastructure linkages like power plants, assured water supply, high capacity transportation and logistics facilities as well as softer interventions like skill development programme for employment of the local populace. In the first phase seven new industrial cities are being developed. The programme has been conceptualized in partnership and collaboration with Government of Japan.
The logo of DMICDC should be innovative and should echo the objective and the work being done by DMICDC.
Selected design will get a prize money of Rs.50, 000/-.
The last date of submission is 31st December, 2015.

The logo is designed with the giving importance to the facilitating medium for the industrial corridor.The logo is designed with the initials of DELHI and MUMBAI i.e (d and m).The curve of d represents the road transport, the vertical line represents the rail transport and the curve of m represents the oceanic wave of sea transport. The road transport has the color black and yellow, The rail transport has the color rusty brown and the sea transport has the shades of blue color.#mygov
