Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India, is committed to make oil conservation a National Movement. As a part of its mandate, Poem/Song Contest is being conducted.

Language:
The contest shall be conducted in Hindi only (in Devanagri script)

Theme:
Save fuel for Better Environment and Health
बेहतर पर्यावरण और स्वास्थ्य के लिए तेल बचत

Categories:
The contest will be conducted in the following three categories:
1. School students of affiliated boards recognized in India (students will have to upload copy of valid school ID along with the entry)
2. College/University Students (students will have to upload copy of valid college/university ID along with the entry)
3. Open - for general public

Prizes to be:
First prize (one in each category): Branded Tab or mobile handset (approximately Rs. 20,000/- each)
Second prize (one in each category): Rs. 10,000/- (gift voucher)
Third prize (one in each category): Rs. 5,000/- (gift voucher)
Five consolation prizes (in each category): Rs. 3,000/- (gift voucher)

The last date of submission is 15th August 2018.

It is my self composed poem, my own creativity. I created this poem on the basis of the people behavior. As people misuses the fuel and they give more importance to the money other than the natural resources. Here I marked, the ignorance of people towards the fuel conservation. If they ignore the fuel and dont pay attention on conservation of fuel then once a time come where the next generation will suffer from the scarcity of the fuel. To prevent the wastage we must make efforts to save fuel.

सोचता था खुद को बहुत बड़ा | तरक्की की कई सीढ़ियाँ चढ़ा | मगर सत्य है बिल्कुल जुदा | चला था जहाँ से,वहीं खड़ा | न जल है निर्मल,न स्वच्छ है हवा | है चारों तरफ धुआँ ही धुआँ | चीर दिया सीना धरती का | जाने किस जिद पर है अड़ा | नहीं चेता वक्त रहते तू | किया नहीं कोई प्रयास | थम जाएगा पहिया विकास का | टूट जाएगी सबकी आस | कर ईंधन की बचत आज | कर धरती को हरा-भरा | आने वाली पीढ़ी का | कल होगा प्रकाश भरा | #MyGov By-Himanshu verma Mob-8932007769
