The students come from the family of uneducated also should fall into the category of learners with special needs. The teachers should have special skill to teach these first generation learners as they need to be motivated to take up studies otherwise the possibility of dropping-out is more.

Today number of autistic children are increasing significantly throughout the globe. In India, it has been estimated that after 88 children 1 child is autistic. Autistic children can not be placed in the category of Mentally Retarded children as they are intelligent but their social behaviour is little different from other children. But with some support they can be trained and they can get education in normal schools. Normal schools should be made inclusive so that they could accommodate them

First of all awareness must starts with the parents , because as a special educator I saw many of the cases in that parents are not ready to accept the reality. For their education special needs teachers with government remedial center should be provided with low cost fees, than only they will start putting them.Resources should be well provided than only educators can work with these kind of kids. With this kind of children we need lots of calmness and colorful resources.

Education in India doesn’t do justice to children. For each child pace of learning for each subject as well as strength of expression of knowledge is different. To provide equal opportunity to all no matter what the limitations or strengths we need a comprehensive evaluation system where each child can chose his medium of expression of his learning. In my school I’ve successfully implemented this wherein students are getting a chance to bridge the gap between information & knowledge.

I have seen several schools where the student teacher ratio is already high also the teacher is not equipped to take on special children in this same class. In such a scenario having a special educator to assist the teacher who also takes some seperate classes (some integrated classes for these special children in a regular classroom) will smoothen the process. Also having a common sports time with integrated activities helps.team of paediatrician, psychologist speech therapist physiotherapist

1.Educate and train Parents to provide a rehabilitating environment for children with special needs when these children show preference to making friends with their own normal children. 2.Schools must employ special educators on a 1:1 ratio for each specially abled child without additional fee from child's parents. 3.Specially abled children respond best to their own parents. 4.Train the child alongside a loving animal as repeatition of commands gives the child a sense of being his/her own boss.
