Digital India Brief

Digital India Programme is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision “to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy”. The three key vision areas of Digital India Programme include “Infrastructure as a utility to every citizen”, “Governance and Services on Demand” and “Digital Empowerment of Citizens”. Digital India Programme aims to provide the much needed thrust to the nine pillars of growth areas in the country, namely Broadband Highways, Universal Access to Mobile Connectivity, Public Internet Access Programme, e-Governance: Reforming Government through Technology, e-Kranti - Electronic Delivery of Services, Information for All, Electronics Manufacturing, IT for Jobs and Early Harvest Programmes. Digital India Programme pulls together many existing schemes of GoI.

The website for Digital India programme is being designed and developed. In this context, three home page designs are put on MyGov Platform. This task seeks the feedback from citizens in terms of “Comment”. The comments / suggestions received will be reviewed and suitably incorporated.

The last date of submission is 5th January, 2015

The design is indicative placeholders for the content. Idea is to get inputs on the designs. Copyrights, if any, would be duly considered when the design cum development of website is done.

Option 2, as all the information is present and is well defined by text which is very important for first time or relatively new users. It is modern and attractive. The concept of live tiles which bring images on moving the cursor over the tiles is really helpful as it doesn't limit the webpage to just text.

OPTION - 2 : It is looking very good and also user friendly by showing in pictorial links. Option :1 It is also user friendly but it is common for every website. Option:3 It is also OK but not sufficient for user friendly.

Option 2- As it is more innovative and give the better view of digital India. You can get all the information like blogs ,RTI, take part in quiz if interested,discussion forum ,contests,and many more on the front page.There is no inconvenience in using this webpage...:)

Here the main thing in design 1 is its is slightly good and encouraging but i am not concerned with the color of the navigation bar but it still seems to be great ............ Design 2 the layout is fantastic but the problem i see here is if we are going to write something below it then it will compleatly dull its rich choice of color and design Design 3 its too common now days So overall the design 2 is best in my view

Option 3 - its simple and user friendly. Its easy to find what you are looking for in a neat and clean theme.
