Pasighat invites all its residents to participate in the tagline competition for “Pasighat Smart City”. The Tagline should be concise and between 2 to 10 words. It should reflect the long term vision of the proposed Smart City Pasighat.

How to Submit

Entries may be submitted online through https://mygov.in portal in latest by 12th November, 2015.

For offline submission, a hard copy of the essay should reach the following address before the due date:

National Informatics Centre (NIC)
O/o The Deputy Commissioner
Pasighat, East Siang District
Arunachal Pradesh – 791102.

Please clearly mention on the envelope in block letters “TAGLINE COMPETITION FOR SMART CITY PASIGHAT”.

Prize money for the First Prize is Rs. 5,000 (Five Thousand Rupees only).

I submit my contribution here. The tagline should be read as "PASIGHAT: Restructuring Ecology and Economy. Striving for Sustainable and balanced living"

Pasighat produced luminaries for years, it's time to luminate it. (The beauty of this tagline is that this tagline tells us that Pasighat has produced many luminaries like Talom Rukbo, Mamang Dai, and Lummer Dai--but at the same time, this tagline contains an obsolete word: "luminate", which is an old word for "illuminate". Use of "luminate" justifies itself, that is, using "luminate" shows ignorance, and therefore, we really need to illuminate Pasighat.
