RUPEE - Rural and Urban Project for Economic Empowerment. The name is catchy and easy to remember. The logo icon has a rupee symbol which is made up of a conglomeration of small dots which represents the vastness of our country's demographic assets. The inclusion of each of these dots within the rupee symbol is a metaphor for the financial inclusion of all the citizens of this country - whatever be their age, religion, gender, etc. The name can be easily translated to any other Indian language.
