The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

The one of the main areas to be develop are Disaster Management for natural calamity we are living in semis zone VI so more emphasis must be on disaster management,all modern equipment to tackle the situation is must.

following pointsare more importance as per my views:- 1.drainage,sewerage,solid waste management. 2.tourist:-river sports,adventure sports etc are importance 3.education/college/and skill development 4.houasing affordable and quality housing for all is required.

Being the himalayan state of india i strongly feel pasighat must be declared as organic city as its locally products are organic and till today there is no air pollution,water pollution.till date environment are clean and fresh,so more emphasis should be give for organic product.
