The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

To see Pasighat as the best tourist destination in the world, with best hospitality and management. Reviving the Culture of the Adi-tribe and tapping the potential of the mighty Siang River with all the infrastructural facilities and best service delivery mechanism.

Will Build a modern, harmonious, and creative high-income society It shall have a healthy and well-developed human resource base. Will be an important cultural, tourism and business centre in North East.

smart city should have all types of communication such as rail way,internet 3G,4G if possible ........1000G, air way etc so that every citizen can enjoy easily.
