The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

while planning the smart city the Engineers and administrative officers have to works together in every step coz they are head and tails of the same coin in any developmental activities.

As a citizen of pasighat,the smart city should have the modern facilities like railway way,airway,road way, 24/7 light, and water. the most important is to preserved natural beauty while design smart city.

only 24/7 water supply,electricity is possible by constructing DAM on our Siang. so this very important point be discuss under smart city.

To be good smart city some basic element are necessary such as 24/7 electricity, water supply, smooth traffic follow(Land, Water and air). above all civic sense on these element is must important.

during road design traffic island should provided at every junction and zebra crossing should be provided at certain distance where ever necessary to avoid traffic acident

during road designed minimum four lane should be provided with in the city and flyover should be provided if necessary to minimize traffic density.
