The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

Pasighat the educationally advance city which is surround by lofty mountain has been select within 100 smart city by the visionary leaders to achieved the ambitious city following area must be given more emphasis:- 1.it's drainage system must be improved. 2.all the sectors roads must be widen. 3.tourism sectors must be improved by encouraging eco-tourism. 4.electricity and water supply should be 24x7. 5.organic farming must be encourage for health sector. 6.for housing affordable is must.

For 24/7 water supply pasighat city should tapped water from SIRUM KORONG( stream).

Pasighat need the following:- 1. Road connectivity, Enhancing the service connectivity. 2. Embankment along the sibokorong from backside of horticulture college to berung area. 3. Augmentation of National highway from 5 th mile via reserve area to G.T.C road . 4. Installation of wind mill along the reneghat area. 4.

My vision for pasighat as smart city. Good transportation,top class medical, Better school and college infrastructures, Availability of drinking water and electricity, proper security system, quarter facility etc.
