The success of DIGITAL INDIA is only possible when internet availability will be there in remote villages and locations and the people staying there can also avail citizen services via net. Govt. is having power to change everything in this country. what govt. can do is to allow the users to pay the income tax by net banking or by DD or by credit or debit cards. Again applying for a RTI is a paper and pen work that can be changed. Electricity provider that too private firm provides online payment of bill then why the govt. undertakings can't. Why can't we apply online for driving license, income certificate, domicile certificate. We can again have a provision of a system that would work on emails and sms as the MLA and MP in the region have sanctioned the amount of money and how it is used for public welfare must be reported to the people time to time. Thank you.

You cant plan for health services for this large population unless you dont have right information about diseases, services and population. Its only the IT that can streamline process and improve service delivery and transparency in delivery of health care. The GoI should now onwards stop clearing any health plan if it is not aligned with IT. Make it mandatory. Also change all decision makers at highest level if they are not ready to adopt IT at first place.

To truly achieve healthy India visit 1) digitize all government operations including hospital services, 2) Aadhar enabled patient-records with portability option 3) creation of registries at district and state-patient, provider, hospital, disease, services etc 4) health information exchanges for sharing data from across various systems. 5) access of patient over his/her own records 6) Huge investment in capacity building and change management of the current hospitals and bureaucrats.
