The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

I am a father of three little girls. When my third girl was born my friends as well as relatives were cursing me about not doing the sex determination test. They say to me that you have gone mad you should have gone for abortion if it was a girl. Recently I came to know there are are still some people who are doing this test instead of having strict laws. I think we must spread awareness that this world can not run without women. Indian women are superior to Indian men in every respect. Academic results have consistently supported this fact that they are more intelligent, and in the arena of sport they have again excelled at the world level compared to their male counterparts, and they achieve all this in the face of discrimination. With the supply of brides being low in most states, no parent should agree to a dowry demand. Dowry demanders and givers are all sick. And death penalty for doctors committing foeticide.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao has now become a theme to save this universe. According to our vedic sanskriti "Naari ish shrashti ki janani hai:. So where was the doubt left and killing this innocent just for the fear of dowry, aan, baan aur shaan ke liye. Just seer ignorance of truth. Beti is a big asset in a sacred home and devil where where there is no care. Today, you educate well a baby girl she is going to enlighten two homes with light of values, ethos and ethics of which every home lacks. Save

This is related to the health care of pregnant women. Now a days its been observed that Dr only prefer operation than normal deliveries. They have chose this route to earn more money and putting life of women at risk. Can we make one law which states that it is mandatory to do normal deliveries like in other countries. Looking forward for your response. Thankyou

Sir, Strict action should be taken against the convicts who molests a girl. There should be a law made to directly hang them to death once they are proven to be the convicts so that people think before they do such crime.

I feel each girl child getting born in any part of India, should be granted a amount of Rs.300000* to study till 12th, this will somehow reduce the burden what a girl child parents think of. Then if she will be a bright student she will have to send the academic details to HRD ministry, this process will be operated by Retired IAS & IPS officers and from their she will be given scope to complete her further studies by giving her a choice of 3 streams to study for Free Of Cost.
