The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

there are various factors active behind pre birth discrimination and gender biased sex selection . if we look at child sex ratio we can see the declining trend .in our state m.p 5 districts shyopur , shivpuri, datia , tikamgarh and reeva where csr is 850 to 899. but whom to blame ? 1. madical practitioner- if they check sex of foetus . 2. family - who check sex of foetus forcefully 3.you and i - if we are just spectators

Dear sir Our village surrounded by railway line all directions. There is no legal way to cross railway track. Thus we are complete disconnected with other part of whole country. We are heartly requested to solve our problem by granting a under bridge of railway crossing. We have been suffering since 1947.

today all the opportunity is being provided to girls ... but in my opinion the big barrier that is discouraging parents to treat girls same as boys is security issues ... I hope modi ji will do something for safety of girls . there should be such steps that will prevent boys to do any such thing . they should be taught about respect of girls since their childhood because in our society what we learn is male dominance but when they will be taught that girls are respectable

I laud the PM's idea, initiative and the subsequent communication with regard to Clean India. H'ever, i do believe that in urban India, hawkers pose a very big challenge. Whether they occupy a pavement legally or not is a more complicated case, but whilst occupying, they gather a large crowd and create a lot of mess. Why not create champions of cleanliness ( eg: all hawkers on park street), give them a badge for keeping their city clean. Drive the message home at the bottom of the pyramid. Tx!

I was pained to find my maid discontinued the schooling of her beti as goons teased her beti on way to her school.I tried to convince her but in vain. Now after 6 years gap that beti with skill of art and dreams in heart is working at my home.I teach her daily. In next session I will enrol her to open school. She has suffered divorce at tender age of 18. Dear PM please encourage flexi hours schooling system for urban poor. I hope my wish gets granted. Thanks for this medium to interact with you.

the decreasing ratio between males and females is alarming and this will create further problems for women. so, creating awareness about the ill effects of this disparity on the society and the importance of girl education is very important and should be taken up on a priority basis
