Dream Smart, Be Smart and Realize Smart City

THE SMART PEOPLE CAN ONLY MAKE CITY SMART. Hence the vision of smart city should be “A city catering to inclusive growth of society, green environment, good governance and sustainable business with a cultural cap”. Smart City administration must carefully progress towards the realization of vision.

The Pan city initiative with it's multiple prong approach is truly an empowering platform. it can lead to increased efficiency,transparency,accountability and make Hubballi-Dharwad one of the smartest cities of India!

Good proposal which unifies the twin city using it's strengths and opportunities. Area Based development has been proposed keeping in mind the needs of both Hubballi and Dharwad citizens. Hopefully it gets implemented soon and becomes a model city for others to follow.

please provide 1st smart roads & parking slots. then automatically hubballi will look as smart city.

please plan with broader perspective. else it would be also congested soon. plan for broader roads. plan separate path for bicycle. separate path for public transport, frequent and regular buses with  which would people to commute with public transport. this would reduce traffic and pollution. this would increase revenue for government. camera surveillance . during emergency police ambulance and firefighters can use this to reach the destination faster.

1.Good Drinking water: Create multiple water storage bodies; separate out drinking water vs. water for other activities; Recycled water to be used for other activities. 2.Adequate electricity: Provide solar power generating stations around outskirts of each city which will supply power to street lights, bus stops and other public places 3.Pure Air: Govt. to acquire land within city limits and also outskirts to plant trees where every possible.

Generation of employment locally should also be considered to curb unemployment. Quick implementation of foothpaths and good quality roads in nook and corner of hubli-dwd should be taken care. There is no use of investing in roads which will break down after single rainfall. Please ensure proper linkage between water dept,electricity deptand road dept so that the roads are not dug again and again and left in same situation after the work. There should be quick implementation of the plan.
